Why the one copy-paste?

What are AEO and GEO?
AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) is about becoming the answer a conversational engine gives when a user expresses a need. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is about making your brand, sources and proof present and visible inside the data ecosystems that feed the models. The first targets the answer, the second targets the material that produces it.
How is this different from SEO?
SEO optimises a rank in a list of links. AEO and GEO optimise a citation inside a written answer. A site can rank first on Google and be entirely absent from ChatGPT or Perplexity answers, because those systems read structure, not just text.
What exactly does the audit do?

Is the audit free?

What is in the generated archive?

Do I need a developer to install it?
No. The files go at the root of your domain, over FTP or through your host's file manager. No server configuration, no plugin, no code to change. The archive contains the exact instructions.
Can the files contain invented information?
No, and that is verified rather than promised. Every URL in the files is tested before delivery: if it does not resolve, it is not shipped. If something is not on your site, it is not written. The merged robots.txt keeps every line you already had.
Does this guarantee ChatGPT will cite me?
No, and nobody can guarantee that: engines choose their sources on criteria they do not publish. What the audit guarantees is that the technical obstacles making you invisible or unusable are found and fixed. That is a necessary condition, not a sufficient one.
Is my data kept?
The audit stores the URL analysed and the result, so it can be shown back to you and feed the aggregate public statistics. Crawled pages are not republished. You can request deletion of your account at any time.
Can I audit a site I do not own?
The audit only reads what a public crawler can already read; it tests nothing intrusive. But the generated files are meant to be placed on a domain you control: on someone else's site they have no effect.
